A 2nd story deck on the back side of Bob's home in Clear Lake was draining right onto the concrete below and building up a bit too much water than he liked. On either side of a central support beam, a 1-3 inch gap allowed water to come right through and fall to the ground, uninterrupted. Bob was driving by our office one day and decided to stop in to see what water-tight solutions we could come up with for him.

Kevin Feldewerd, our regional salesman, visited Bob's home a few days later to evaluate the situation and draw up a proposal. Kevin determined it would be best to utilize our ultra-durable open-style seamless gutter, RainGutterXL, to mount on either side of the beam. With this placed directly underneath the drainage point, no water could reach the ground. Furthermore, to ensure none of the supporting wood could soak in water, we would add in metal flashing up to the joist, so any wayward water would be pushed right into the gutter and not slip behind. We would then drain each 21 foot piece of RGXL into a single downspout, utilizing a Y-adapter to bring both drainage points together.

Allan's home in Clear Lake had no gutters, and looking to prevent water damages he began a search for gutters. A local homeowner of Clear Lake reached out to our office looking for a gutter that would protect a cement parking pad on the side of her home. Damage to cement, driveways, and house foundations is a common result of water coming off the roof with no gutters to catch it.
