The Gutter Shutter System Photo Album: Three-Piece Gutter Shutter Project in Foley, MN
The open-style gutter system on John's house in Foley, Minnesota was damaged during the winter as ice and snow built up and started pulling it off the fascia boards. He knew it was time for an upgrade and reached out to our office to see what gutter replacement options we could offer. After being shown our seamless Gutter Shutter product, which is guaranteed to never pull away from the fascia, by our salesman Kevin Feldewerd, he was ready to get his home protected.
John also had a new metal roof, requiring special attention from our installers to properly mount Gutter Shutter to attain maximum water capture. Metal roofs are often set up with several inches of overhang to send water well past the fascia boards and wrap over the ends. Luckily, this metal roof wasn't hanging too far and aligned well with the perforated hood. Our crew did have to cut back the ends to extend the gutter past the edge, preventing water from running off the very end of the roof. All in all, we installed 67 feet of white Gutter Shutter and 42 feet of our wicker downspouts with 3 wide mouth outlets for exceptional drainage, each set up with a tip-up downspout extension.
32 Feet of Seamless Gutter
This section of gutter will catch all of the water off this side of the house, which is no problem for our extra large trough size.
High Volume Gutter
With two roof areas landing here, this gutter will be keeping up with a lot of fast moving water. Our high-volume hood takes in as much water as you can give it!
Tip Up Downspout Extensions
As with the other downspouts, this tip-up extension allows for water to drain as far as needed, while allowing it to be lifted up off the lawn whenever needed!
Don't Bet on Weak Gutters
This 32 foot piece of seamless open-style gutter is spectacularly failing to hold itself up. Our Gutter Shutter system won't prevent ice, but it will never pull away from the fascia boards and sag like this!
